Where Can I Serve?

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of The PATH Worship Center is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. The PATH Worship Center members are involved in a variety of ministries such as our food drive and preparing our Thursday fellowship meals.

Music & Dance

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. Many church members get involved in our music and dance ministry. Some play their instruments, some are vocalists, others get involved in dance and praise. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of The PATH Worship Center using their talents and gifts to glorify God.

The usher team at The PATH Worship Center fills an important role. They are involved in directing attendees to their seats, ensuring the safety of the building during services, guiding traffic, helping visitors, answering questions, providing direction, unlocking doors, locking doors, and generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free. The usher team is a servant-hearted group of men, women and youth whose ministry is integral to church life.

Media & Technology

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of The PATH Worship Center.  In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. All of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our website in video and audio formats.

Prayer Warriors

Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. The PATH Worship Center is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Each Sunday during the morning service, The PATH Worship Center is praying for the ministry of the Word. Throughout the week we pray for our pastor, a list of church members, any special requests, and missionary prayer needs. Each Thursday, the church comes together for a special time of prayer, Bible study, homework help, and a fellowship meal.

Children’s Church

In order to give our children the best Bible teaching possible, The PATH Worship Center holds a children’s church service in conjunction with the main service. This special time gives children more opportunity for interaction and learning in a context and manner that is suited to their age and learning styles. Our friendly Children’s Church volunteers have an endless stream of creativity–ranging from music and games to object lessons.

Youth Ministry

The PATH Worship Center holds a Youth Discipleship Class every Sunday  in order to keep our youth engaged in activities that are fun and spiritually uplifting.  The Youth also have an opportunity for interaction and learning in a manner that is suited to their age-group. The PATH Worship Center hosts a variety of community outreach events and an annual mission trip so that our Youth will develop a healthy perspective for outreach ministry.

The PATH Worship Center Nursery is open on Sundays during discipleship and worship services.  Our vision at The PATH Worship Center is “to know Jesus and make Him known”, this is also our goal in the nursery.  We desire to nurture a child’s trust and confidence by providing a tender, secure, and loving environment.  Our aim is that each child will experience the love of our Lord Jesus through our care givers.

Seniors Ministry

The mission of The Senior’s Ministry at The PATH Worship Center is to provide resources that will assist seniors in their growing spiritually, emotionally, mentally, and physically, toward Christ.  Programs, classes, and activities are developed to meet the changing needs of the senior congregation and to provide a balanced ministry.

Women’s Ministry

The mission of the Women’s Ministry at The Path Worship Center is to encourage every woman to know Christ personally.  Through this ministry, the ladies are also encouraged to be committed to extending His kingdom in their life, home, church, community, and around the world by providing or seeking opportunities for discipleship and fellowship. The Women’s Ministry has a weekly discipleship for the edification of God’s word.

Men’s  Ministry

The Men’s Ministry of The PATH Worship Center is committed to training men young and old to walk with Christ.  The men are equipped and strengthened in their faith so that they may go back to their homes, work places, and communities and be an influence for Christ.  The men hold a weekly discipleship and provide the church with leadership in all areas of church life.  The men also oversee security, maintenance and other practical needs of the facilities.

Kitchen Ministry

The Kitchen Ministry is an integral part of all of the ministries at The PATH Worship Center.  The Kitchen Ministry provides for weekly fellowship dinners, monthly fellowship breakfasts, and any other event that will require services from the kitchen.  The committees that operate the Kitchen Ministry have strong Christian principles and are committed to facilitating the church with event services whenever they are called upon.

Food Drive

Members are encouraged to participate in the Food Drive at The PATH Worship Center.  All donated items are collected and given to a local food bank.

Evangelism Ministry

Evangelism Ministry exists to encourage and equip believers to share the love of God, model that love, and win people to Christ.  The PATH Worship Center evangelism ministry team does outreach in surrounding neighborhoods in order to share the ministry of Jesus Christ.  A personal and public involvement in practical ministry and missions with a view towards witnessing is what we continuously strive for.

John 4:23, 29; Romans 12:3-8:  The building up of the body of Christ can only be accomplished when every member is involved in lifestyle evangelism.  In addition, each member is expected to serve in one ministry area of the church.  The body of Christ is built up from the inside first, by discipleship and worship.  Only then can the Gospel message be taken into the world.

Because The PATH Worship Center is a fellowship of believers, we have a GOD given mandate to “…go and tell, …make disciples…”.  It is our purpose to be involved in foreign and home missions through our participation in practical ministry, local, and foreign missionary endeavors.
